We are looking for student assistants in the field of fMRI and social fMRI, coupling of multiple MR scanners and EEGs (Hyper EEG).

Responsibilities:

 
  • Independently plan, perform and evaluate subject measurements on the 3T and 7T MRI
  • Create virtual reality environments in which subjects can interact
Requirements:  
  • Student of medicine, psychology, computer science, computational visualistics, neuroscience (or comparable fields)
  • Independent way of working within a group and ability to work in a team is desirable
  • Contribution and implementation of own ideas is desired

Visualization and exploration of brain structures using diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

We are looking for student assistants for the processing and visualization of high-resolution anatomical and diffusion-weighted MRI data and the visualization of anatomical and neuronal connections across the brain.

 Responsibilities:

 
  • Creating a virtual reality (VR) environment with Unity 3D, Unreal Engine, 3D Studio MAX
  • Integration of anatomy and DWI data into a VR environment (programming in ( C#, JavaScript, or similar)
  • Integration of Microsoft Kinect, Oculus Rift, Oculus sensors and Oculus controller
  • Extension of the prototype of an existing multi-user platform
 Requirements:  
  • Student in computer science, computational visualistics, MultiMediaDesign, neuroscience, or similar
  • Programming skills in a standard language
  • Independent way of working within a group and ability to work in a team is desirable
  • Contribution and implementation of own ideas desired
